Certificate Course in Economic & Environment Literacy
CERTIFICATION
Certificate of participation is given to all students who complete the two-stage examination.
In the first stage every student is given a list of 50 topics. He has to chose any one topic and report it to the Course Co-Coordinator. The student has to write a paper on that topic. (Topics are like 'Impact of privatisation of Labour, Globalisation, Environment and Women, etc.) Additional study material is provided to write the paper. Excellent papers will be published on the web site. The objective is to enable students to build through knowledge base in any one particular subject.
In the second stage of the exam, every student is to prepare the budget for the country with his own ideas. Necessary budget documents will be provided. The student has to imagine that he has been appointed as the Finance Minister and has to prepare the Budget to allocate the country's resources.
